A review of environmental issues arising from the recent post war development of Vietnam has been published. This paper provides a review of Vietnam environmental issues and suggest new directions for future research on environmental protection issues in Vietnam.

environmental pollution is a very big problem in Vietnam. In my mind, there are air contamination, water pollution with many factory use rivers as waste container, noise pollution. Vietnam government has implemented some approach to tackle the environmental problem, however, their efficacy is a question. Hope that there is one day, I can walk in a quite street and breath a fresh air in Vietnam as I do in Australia
